The Shanghai Tang Restaurant is open 7 days from 7am until 10pm serving a full hot Australian breakfast, lunch & dinner all located on the Mezzanine Level.
Shanghai Tang’s concept is to introduce modern Shanghai cuisine known as “Crossover” to the Chinese and Western food lovers in Sydney Chinatown. For lunch, dinner or throughout the date the vibrant restaurant specialises in a selection of 60 dishes including Appetizers, Dim Sims, Soup, Main Dishes, Vegetables, Rice & Noodles, Desserts & Drinks.
Some of the chefs recommendation include Sweet & Sour Caramelized Pork Spare Ribs, Shanghai Xiao Long Bao with Crab Meat, Pen-fried Buns filled with Pork, Pumpkin Cake, , Braised Beef with Shanghai Noodles in Soup, Hot and Spicy Tan-Tan Noodles.
The restaurant spreads out over two levels on the 2nd floor you can be close to the kitchen and open food stalls, sit back and watch the dumplings and pancakes being cooked. While the 3rd floor provides a private function space for 30 – 40 guests offering views out over bustling China Town, ideal for corporate and community functions, lunches, dinners, private parties and meetings.
