The Avalon 2012 Tattoo starts at midday with the Australian Federal Police Pipe Band, NSW Fire and Rescue Band, NSW Ambulance Band, Clan MacLeod Pipe Band, NSW Police Pipe Band, NSW Rural Fire Service Pipe Band and the Royal Australian Navy Big Band Concert. The Guest of Honour will be Governor General of Australia on final confirmation.

The Tattoo will start with a street parade at midday. 305 SQN will be exercising their Freedom of Entry to Pittwater and a March Past.

The conclusion will be Ceremonial Sunset/Beat The Retreat, Lone Piper, Massed Pipes and Drums Finale with Fireworks.

Displays: SES, NSW Ambulance, 201 Army Cadets, Navy Reserve Units HMAS Waterhen, Minewarfare Geospatial Deployable System Team and Reserve Dive Team Five, Aircraft, NSW Police, NSW Fire Brigade, NSW Rural Fire Service, Defence Force Recruiting, Johns Ambulance, Warringah Scottish Society, Vietnam Veteran Motor Cycles and Vietnam Bus and vintage cars.
