Founded in 1915, the Sydney Conservatorium of Music is Australia’s premier music educator and a global centre of excellence in music. The Sydney Conservatorium of Music is exciting and inviting and presents a year round program of concerts, masterclasses and lectures by world class musicians, students, academics and researchers. Many of these events are free and children are welcome to attend. The Sydney Conservatorium of Music is located at the heart of Sydney's cultural and music precinct, close to the Sydney Opera House and surrounded by the Royal Botanic Gardens.
