Things to do in Surfers Paradise

There's so much to see and do at the Gold Coast, Australia's favourite playground. From the famous long sandy beaches lined with shimmering high rises, to the quiet rolling hills and rainforests of the hinterland, and all the shopping and entertainment in between, there is something to excite everyone both day and night.

Surfers Paradise sits right at the centre of all the action. Experience sun, sand and surf at the beach during the day, and kick up your heels by night as the bustling entertainment scene comes alive with so many great restaurants, bars with live music, and nightclubs to visit. Surfers is also a great place to hit the shops with lots of fashionable boutiques, as well as night markets selling local wares each Wednesday and Friday. You can also enjoy some serious retail therapy at nearby Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, which has over 130 shops.

There's a whole heap of activities to take part in during your stay here too. Try a surf lesson at the beach, or for even more thrills visit one of the amazing theme parks (tickets and transfers available from the resort).Head to the observation deck at nearby Q1,the tallest building in the southern hemisphere, where you can check out the 360-degree views from 77 floors up.
